Basic Program Overview:
ManTech is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team in Alexandria, VA to provide exceptional support to our customer and to begin an exciting and rewarding career within ManTech.

The Tactical Operations Program Analyst will provide Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) and Contractor Advisory and Assistance Services (CAAS) support to government leaders. Support includes coordinating end-user requirements, reviewing technical proposal submissions, and executing research and development projects to ensure they are completed within schedule, budget, and technical scope.

This position will be working in the area of Tactical Operations Support for an organization that rapidly identifies and develops capabilities to combat terrorism for the Department of Defense and the other Government organizations.

General Responsibilities:

  • Ensure successful execution and delivery of multiple research and development projects in support of a government customer.
  • Assist with the process to gather and define end-user requirements.
  • Assist in solicitation preparation and coordinate the source selection process.
  • Provide technical advice and assistance; review proposed solutions for technical feasibility.
  • Develop procurement packages resulting from Broad Agency Announcements and other vendor solicitations; including Statements of Work, Technical Evaluations, Independent Cost Estimates, Contract Data Requirements Lists, etc.
  • Participate in research and development technical review meetings.
  • Plan, organize, execute, analyze, and perform technical work; organize project resources; manage budget; project deliverables; and other related project management activities for multiple projects.
  • Project management; to include collaborating and working closely with internal and external stakeholders to communicate project data, status, and technical needs and address risk, issues, and opportunities.
  • Prepare technical and financial information for briefings, presentations, and status reports.
  • Support the projects operational planning, testing, system fielding, and sustainment efforts.

Mandatory Skills Requirements:

  • At least 4 years& experience in project management.

Job Requirements

Other Skills Preferred:

  • Experience with advanced small arms weapons, weapons accessories, and ammunition.

  • Experience with Department of Defense Special Operations.

  • Experience with government contracting and research and development.

Experience with in the following areas:

  • Offensive Systems

  • Tactical Communications

  • Tactical Reconnaissance, Surveillance, and Target Acquisition Systems

  • Specialized Infiltration, Access, and Exfiltration Systems

  • Survivability Systems
