Position Description:

Analyzes user&s requirements, concept of operations documents, and high-level system architectures to develop system requirements specifications. Analyzes system requirements and leads design and development activities. Guides users in formulating requirements, advises alternative approaches, and conducts feasibility studies. Provides technical leadership for the integration of requirements, design, and technology. Incorporates new plans, designs and systems into ongoing operations. Develops technical documentation. Develops system Architecture and system design documentation. Guides system development and implementation planning through assessment or preparation of system engineering management plans and system integration and test plans. Interacts with the Government regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and for associated problems, issues or conflicts. Ultimate responsibility for the technical integrity of work performed and deliverables associated with the Systems Engineering area of responsibility. Communicates with other program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives.

Experience Requirements:

- (14) years& experience as a System Engineer or in a similar type of capacity

-VoIP systems configuration, maintenance, administration, and deployment.

-Experience supporting and deploying GOTS SIGINT systems and application toolsets

-Experience integrating COTS solutions into end-to-end systems of systems derived from defined requirements documentation – desired

-Authoring Concept of Operations (CONOP), statement of work (SOW) documents, Independent Cost Estimates (ICE), Functional

Desired Requirements:

-Requirements Documents (FRD), Development, Test and Evaluation (DT&E) Plans, architecture diagrams, network diagrams, rack elevation diagrams, data flow diagrams, wiring diagrams, as-built diagrams and other pre- and post- acquisition support documents

- Add demonstrated experience supporting Life Cycle Support (LCS) services for operational capabilities, deployment of technical capabilities as part of small teams and providing remote tiered technical support to mission operators, analysts and technical liaisons (OCONUS)


Bachelor&s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor&s degree.

**Must be willing to travel OCONUS for short-term deployments**

Security Requirements:

U.S. Citizenship and an active DoD TS/SCI w/ poly clearance based upon a SSBI completed within the last 5 years. Must be willing to submit to an initial and random polygraph.

Job Requirements

Requires Bachelors degree or equivalent in computer science or related field, and twelve to fifteen years related experience including network systems engineering and or Masters degree in computer science and nine to eleven years of experience.
