ManTech is seeking an experienced Test Engineer for our growing operations in Dahlgren, VA.


The Senior Systems Engineer /Analyst will work as part of a multi-contractor/ government team to perform system test tasks including the development of content and inputs for test plans, test procedures, and test reports, test analysis of the Tomahawk Weapon System (TWS) and the Tactical Tomahawk Weapon Control System (TTWCS), including test requirements analysis, support for project development reviews, and generation/evaluation of problem reports. The testing includes Integrated Software/System Level test, Formal Qualification Test (FQT), Software Build FQT, and Segment/System test.
Duties also include the preparation of presentations for technical meetings and management reviews, laboratory demonstrations of tactical systems and tactical simulators under development and/or test, generation of metrics for readiness reviews, requirements analysis, metrics charts, requirements statuses, and presentations, as well as engineering assessments of test plans, procedures, and reports, and participation in IPTs to discuss and resolve any issues/comments, and track resolution through to final approval.
The primary work location is Dahlgren, VA, but the position requires about 20% travel to shipboard or other designated Government or Contractor facilities and requires flexibility for short notice test site support for emergent testing that can occur due to adjustments to planned events.

Required Experience/Education:
• A Bachelor&s of Science (BS) degree from an accredited college or university in an engineering, scientific, or technical discipline, or fifteen (15) years of demonstrated and established knowledge base and subject matter expertise in System Test and Analysis of Navy Weapon Systems.
• Ten (10) years of experience (may be concurrent with the 15 years of experience referenced above) with real time Weapon Systems development or test and evaluation.
• Experience with test and evaluation strategies, and statistical analysis of data and engineering tools.
• Demonstrated understanding of concepts related to software performance testing and methods of software test design.
• Experience with process development, management and implementation (such as the Software Engineering Institutes Capability maturity Model Integration process).
• Experience with Configuration Management (CM) processes and Configuration Control Board (CCB) support.
• Experience with the use of simulations in a test environment.
• Specialized Software Test experience - Six (6) years of concurrent progressive experience with a demonstrated technical background in planning, conducting, analyzing, and reporting system or software testing for real time software intensive weapon systems.
o Experience shall include capability in one or more of the following areas: software module level testing; system level testing; functional level testing; or software integration. Experience shall also include software requirements trace tools (e.g., DOORS) and experience with LINUX.
• Specialized Test Analysis experience - Five (5) years concurrent progressive experience with a demonstrated technical background in: Tomahawk Weapon System (TWS)/ Tactical Tomahawk Weapon Control System (TTWCS).
