General Responsibilities:
• Provides subsystem leadership in support for both the Eastern Range (ER) and Western Range (WR).
• Leads and facilitates a multi-discipline team to accomplish objectives.
• Designs and develops integrated solutions through tools, processes and procedures to facilitate the cost effective delivery of services or fielding of products.
• Performs requirements analysis, testing and integration, maintenance and escalated problem resolution of systems, subsystems and components.
• Designs and develops integrated solutions through tools, processes and procedures to facilitate the cost effective delivery of services or fielding of products.
• Performs requirements analysis, testing and integration, maintenance and escalated problem resolution of systems, subsystems and components.
• Analyzes potential systems investments and prepares supporting documentation for recommendation(s) to management and customers based on results of independent assessment of current and future performance, stability, interoperability and systems management/life cycle issues.
• Performs and evaluates cost analyses and vendor comparisons of software/hardware systems to ensure cost-effective and efficient operations and measures feasibility of various approaches and makes recommendations.
• Serves as the primary interface to internal management and the customer for assigned subsystem activities.
• Conducts moderately complex projects or phases of significant projects; coordinates the efforts of technical support staff in the performance of assigned projects.
• Provides oversight for products and/or processes including the identification and review of changes to the Configuration Item (CI) Tree.
• Analyzes, develops, recommends and implements technical solutions and approaches to meet all assigned tasks and milestones.
• Conducts failure and root cause analyses

Mandatory Skills Requirement:
Requires demonstrated initiative, sound judgment, effective decision-making, and excellent oral and written communication skills. Specific equipment or software requirements include proficiency with Microsoft Office products to include Word, Excel, and Power Point. Candidate should have experience with software applications for designing, diagramming, and flowing systems and processes.

Job Requirements

Requires Bachelor's degree (in Computer Science, Math, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology or related field) or equivalent, and seven to nine years of related experience.
