Programs & Operations

General Responsibilities:
• Provide project management, business management, and administrative support to a research and development defense agency.
• Serve as a Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) coordinator and support program managers through acquisition, solicitation, and proposal evaluation for unclassified programs.
• Assist with the creation, revisions, and routing of program documents, BAAs, Justification and Approvals (J&As), and source selection documentation, including quality control of the documents and process to ensure that all aspects follow agency guidelines.
• Perform program management and progress tracking, meeting coordination and conference planning, and document coordination. Work in a cross–functional team that delivers high–quality outputs on time and within budget.
• Work directly with the client to assist with developing and executing research and development projects.

Mandatory Skills Requirement:
• 4+ years of experience with defense–related programs
• 4+ years of experience in a DoD environment
• Experience with technical writing and editing
• Experience with the development of acquisition documentation
• Experience with using Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
• Top Secret clearance required
• BA or BS degree required

Other Skills Referred:
• Experience with providing analysis and support to defense research and development programs, including DARPA, ARPA–E, and IARPA preferred
• Experience in working with federal procurement and solicitation processes
• Experience in a fast–paced DoD environment
• Experience with managing project schedules, risk, and budgets
• Knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR)
• Ability to exhibit flexibility, adaptability, and a team orientation
• Possession of excellent data gathering, analytical, and problem–solving skills
• Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
• PMP Certification

Job Requirements

Requires Bachelor's degree (in Business Administration) or equivalent, and five to seven years of related (project support or management) experience.
