ManTech is currently seeking an experienced Network Engineer with a strong virtualization background to support the US Naval Observatory (USNO) in Washington, DC.

This position will require a current DoD security clearance.


Overview:

Mandatory Experience:
Ten (10) years of experience in Computer Science/Information Technology to include: Technology Analysis and Assessment, Design Definition, Development of Systems Specification, Systems Analysis, Systems Architecture, Systems/Equipment Integration, Test & Evaluation Criteria, and Logistics support of C4ISR requirements. Five (5) years of technical experience in support of Network systems design, development, integration and configuration. Note: Experience may be concurrent.


Special Experience: Experience with network VDI and VM development and implementation. Network/Systems Engineer focusing on VMWare experience and certifications, with heavy VDI exposure. At a minimum 5-10 years experience with systems virtualization using VMWare and a current VCP 6.0+. The ideal candidate would have heavy VDI experience as well as the typical VMWare skillset.


Education:
BS degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Network Engineering.


Job Requirements

Requires Bachelor's degree (in Computer Science, Engineering, Economics or Math) or equivalent, and seven to nine years of related (telecommunication analysis) experience.
