Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer oriented Information System Security Officer (ISSO) to join our team in El Segundo, CA to provide unparalleled support to our customer and to begin an exciting and rewarding career within ManTech.

A qualified candidate will be responsible for providing guidance, research and recommendations to the Government regarding processing of unclassified and classified information on information systems IAW the following regulations:

•DoDD 5207.07 – It&s implementing manuals and volumes, as supplemented by the Air Force.
•ICD 503 – Information Technology Systems Security- Risk Management, Certification and Accreditation.
•JSIG – DoD Joint Security Implementation Guide.
•DoDM 5105.21 – SCI Administrative Security Manual Volumes 1 thru 3 (Reissues DoDM 5105.21-M.1).
•Air Force Manual (AFMAN) 14-304, The Security, Use and Dissemination of Sensitive Compartmented Information.
•DoD 8570.01-M, Information Assurance Workforce Improvement Program.
•DoDI 8510.01 DoD Information Assurance Certification & Accreditation Process (RMF)

Additional duties include, but are not limited to:

•Provide technical and procedural Information System (IS) Security advice to government and industrial teams.
•Perform IS risk assessments at government and industrial sites.
•Properly evaluate government and industrial Automated Information System (AIS) Security plans and programs and prepare correspondence for government signature that identifies discrepancies in submitted plans or approves and accredits the information system, LAN, or WAN.
•Develop a local IS Security Plan for inclusion in accreditation package to SAF/AAZ or other cognizant security authority as required.
•Coordinate with local personnel to obtain hardware/software listings and drawings for inclusion and attachment to AIS Security Plan.
•Develop concept of operations for new systems.
•Develop other documentation as required by the cognizant security authority and/or the local customer.
•Represent the customer at applicable IS security working groups and configuration boards.
•Maintain technical security databases, files, and spreadsheets.
•Represent the Government in the conduct of security reviews and staff assistance visits at government and industry locations applying regulatory directives to ensure the location being reviewed is in compliance. Provide input to the Government&s final report.
•Investigate computer security incidents utilizing government-provided forensics and report findings to government authorities.

Security Clearance Requirement:
Active/current TS/SCI clearance is required.

Job Requirements

Position Requirements:

•Bachelor's degree or equivalent additional (4 years of experience in lieu of degree), and 7+ of experience.
•Minimum of 4 years SAP experience, and 4-6 years total experience in security.
•Current DoD 8570 Professional Certification at IAT2/IAM1 (target is Security + ce).
