Duties:

  • Participate in product discussions with the product owner, users, the UX team and the development team to understand and refine acceptance criteria and estimate user stories
  • Work closely with the UX Team to develop visually appealing web interfaces that are functional and intuitive (no user training required)
  • Work closely with back-end API engineers to retrieve dynamic and computed data
  • Work in an agile environment, delivering incremental product functionality in short iterations
  • Refactor front-end code to support changes in product requirements
  • Develop and maintain an automated test suite for front-end web interface functionality
  • Lead or work with the technical lead to develop front-end standards and guides for the development team

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience developing and implementing mobile-first and responsive web UIs using HTML, CSS and JavaScript, working within a product development team
  • Experience with static site generators (Hugo, Jekyll) and/or templating engines (PugJS)
  • Experience with digital imagery software, such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, etc.
  • Experience with wire-frame/prototyping tool such as InVision or UX Pin 
  • Experience in using Jenkins/Ansible/AWS/Docker    

Job Requirements

Requires Bachelor's degree (in Computer Science or related field) or equivalent, and two to four years of related experience.
