  • Participate in the execution of C&A strategies
  • Analyze INFOSEC technical problems
  • Work independently and within an agile team structure in a fast paced/dynamic environment
  • Provide security assessments to support lifecycle C&A tasks
  • Document and update information assurance system documentation such as SSAA
  • Provide superior customer service; possess strong communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills in a dynamic customer centric environment
  • Able to conceptualize and implement security systems and architectures
  • Experience / understanding of virtualized environments (VMWare 5.x and beyond) and knowledge of provisioning hardware, storage, resources and configuration/administration, including high-availability and failover services.
  • Configuration, migration, and O&M of Windows OS and Windows based applications.
  • Configuration and O&M of RHEL OS and Linux based applications.
  • Experience with RAIDs, SANs, High Availability, Backups and Disaster Recovery is desired.
  • Experience in security hardening of Operating Systems in a standalone environment as well as through GPOs preferred.
  • Perform maintenance, repair and upgrade hardware and printers; interfacing with support repair techs.
  • Provide superior customer service; possess strong communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills in a dynamic customer centric environment

Job Requirements


  • Requires Bachelor's degree (in field mathematics, telecommunications, electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science) or equivalent. 5 to 10 years experience with information networks and the security aspects.

  • Able to work collaboratively, coordinating among cross-functional teams and manage priorities.

  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written) and analytical skills; strong and demonstrated interpersonal skills to include influence, negotiation, collaboration and diplomacy.

  • Ability to coordinate and work with diverse groups of subject matter experts.

  • Basic understanding of system engineering principles

  • Understanding of networking topologies

  • Understanding of Windows Active Directory environment

  • STIG compliance and remediation

  • SCAP, ACAS and Nessus skills

  • Experience with DICAP and DCID 6/3 required, RMF/ICD 503 desired, NIST 800-53

  • Linux/Unix working knowledge

  • Windows based training or certification required
