Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, mission oriented Cyber Vulnerabilities Technician in the Reston, VA area to provide unparalleled support to our customer and to begin an exciting and rewarding career within ManTech.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Conducts vulnerability assessments and develops mitigation and/or remediation recommendations for discovered vulnerabilities.
• Prioritizes mitigation actions based on assessed risk upon discovery of critical exploits and vulnerabilities to meet operational requirements.
• Researches existing vulnerabilities, new vulnerabilities, attacks, and exploits to develop proof-of-concepts to establish operational strategies.
• Develops and submits detailed reports of findings, analysis and recommendations presented to a broad range of audiences.

Position Requirements:
• Have a minimum ten years of related experience, or eight years of related experience and a college Associate&s in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) disciple.
• Have experience in conducting pentation testing and system function evaluations of software configurations and mobile applications.
• Have experience in coordinating, writing, and publishing software characterization reports in accordance with established guidelines.
• Have experience using Windows-based desktop computers and familiarity with the Microsoft Office Professional Suite of application, specifically MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint.
• Have experience in software development, a solid knowledge of Kali Linux testing framework, open web security protocols, and black box penetration testing.
• Be proficient in multiple operating systems and Mobile Applications (e.g. Unix, Linux Debian and Fedora-based distributions, 8088-8086 Architecture, assembly/ Machine Learning Language, OS-X, Windows x32 and x64, Java, Java Script, Chrome OS and internet packet routing, protocols, and encryption)
• Have experience in encryption and obfuscation methods and proficiency with multiple programming languages (e.g. Java, Java Script, Python, C++).

Security Requirements:
• Must possess an active TS/SCI clearance w/ a Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph.

Highly Desired Experience:
• Must be Department of Defense (DoD) 8570 Compliant, IAT Level II.

Job Requirements

Requires Bachelor's degree (in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field), and 12-14 years of related experience or equivalent.
