Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer oriented Database Analyst to join our team in the Northern VA area to provide unparalleled support to our internal organization and to begin an exciting and rewarding career within ManTech.


The Database Analyst shall support efforts to promote information sharing across DHS components by having a singular analytical tool combining intelligence, law enforcement, and security program data for role based operational use. The Contractor shall assist in developing DHS automated access to TSA&s population set to include providing automated vetting data for Department-wide operational use for appropriate, the technical development, operations and maintenance required to export this data set (> 15 million individuals), and provide updates as necessary. The Contractor shall support TSA&s WebEOC database maintenance and operation capability used to communicate Known and Suspected Terrorists (KST), the Secure Flight Call Center, and Identity Verification Call Encounter Tracker to share information with key stakeholders and operational entities. The Contractor shall support the design, development, and implementation of a common user interface for a single vetting position to ensure a more integrated and consolidated vetting analyst capability as well as simplify training, maintenance, operations, and long-term support. The Contractor shall support the ingestion the Department of State passport database as well as potentially ingesting US-issued visa data, to compare the data with applicant-provided citizenship information, and to display any potential discrepancies to adjudicators for further action. The Contractor shall assist in verifying immigration status and facilitating enrollment for individuals who may not have a citizenship document on hand at enrollment. The Contractor shall provide support to the implementation of enhanced criminal vetting including FBI NCIC name based checks for open wants and warrants. The Contractor shall support risk-based screening for checked baggage based on vetting status to included communicating baggage tag information from the airline departure control system to operations for operational correlation and application. The Contractor shall support the design, development, and implementation of interfaces with Department of State Passports to confirm valid passports as well as centralized access to State repositories via the Electronic Verification of Vital Events (EVVE) system.

  • Must possess a Bachelor's Degree and 8 years of experience, years of experience can replace degree requirements.
  • Enters and verifies data via a range of technological tools and platforms.
  • Conceptualizes, designs, develops, and fields information systems and applications to promote efficient means of data accessibility, analysis, information sharing, and gap assessments.
  • Collects and organizes information required for manuals, materials, guides, proposals, and reports.


  • Must possess an active TS/SCI

Job Requirements

Requires Bachelor's degree (in Computer Science or related field) or equivalent, and seven to nine years of related experience.
